Overview
You can now submit your student ID photo directly through the Transact eAccounts app — quick, easy, and convenient!
If you don’t submit your photo ahead of time, you’ll still have an opportunity to take one at an AAR event.
Photo Requirements
When submitting online, you’ll need:
- A recent color photo with a plain, neutral background (acceptable colors include white, off‑white, cream, beige, or light gray).
- A photo of a government-issued ID to verify your identity.
Your photo must clearly show your full head—from the top of your hair to your chin—and the entire width of your face, similar to a driver’s license or passport photo.
Glasses: Prescription glasses are allowed as long as there is no glare obscuring your eyes. Dark or tinted lenses are not acceptable unless medically necessary.
Head Coverings: Religious head coverings are permitted, but your full face must remain visible and free of shadows.
Your photo must clearly identify you as the cardholder.
Tips for Submitting
DO:
- Use a recent, in-focus color photo with no filters.
- Choose a smooth, neutral-colored background.
- Center your face and look directly at the camera.
- Crop the photo from just above your head to your collarbone.
- Use proper lighting.
- Keep your eyes open and visible.
- Wear prescription glasses if you normally do.
DON’T:
- Wear hats, sunglasses, or anything that hides your face.
- Submit photos with glare, shadows, or closed eyes.
- Look away from the camera.
- Include other people, pets, or distracting objects.
- Use group, blurry, black-and-white, or heavily posed photos.
- Rest your face on your hand.
- Crop off the top of your head or turn your face to the side.
- Use photos older than six months.
- Use filters of any kind.
Note: Taking a photo with most smartphones/devices works well.
How to submit your photo:
- Download the Transact eAccounts app (look for the icon with two arrows).
- Android eAccounts Download
- Apple iOS eAccounts Download
- Select Southeast Tech and sign in using your STC email and campus password.
- Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
- Choose Submit ID Photo.
- Tap Get Started and follow the steps to upload your photo and government-issued ID. You may upload an existing photo or take one directly within the app.
Once your photo is approved, you can download your Mobile ID using the Transact eAccounts app.

Employees need get their picture taken from the Marketing department.
