Overview
On the Southeast Tech campus you will encounter two wireless networks:
- Southeast Tech Secure - This is the recommended network for all STC students and employees and provides access to needed resources
- Southeast Tech Guest - This network is for guests who do not have an STC user account and provides only Internet access
Connect to wireless network on an iPhone:
- Open the "Settings" app
- Tap on "Wi-Fi"
- Select the Southeast Tech Secure network to connect to
- Enter your STC username (firstname.lastname) and password, then click Join
- If you are presented with a Certificate pop-up, click Trust
Connect to wireless network on Android:
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Touch and hold the Wi-Fi symbol.
- Select the Southeast Tech Secure network.
- Use this configuration:
- EAP method - PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication - None
- CA certificate - Don't check (the network is providing the certificate. Ignore messages about the connection not being private; you are connecting to a known, trusted network)
- Identity - Your STC username (firstname.lastname)
- Anonymous identity - Leave this blank
- Password - Your STC password
Connect to wireless network on ChromeOS
- Open network settings
- Select the Southeast Tech Secure network to connect to
- Click connect
- EAP method - PEAP
- CA certificate - Don't check (the network is providing the certificate. Ignore messages about the connection not being private; you are connecting to a known, trusted network)
- Identity - Your STC username (firstname.lastname)
- Password - Your STC password
Connect to wireless network on macOS:
- Click on the Wi-Fi symbol near the top-right corner of the screen
- Select the Southeast Tech Secure network
- Enter your STC username (firstname.lastname) and password
Connect to wireless network on Windows:
Click on the Wi-Fi/network symbol near the bottom right corner of the screen
Select the Southeast Tech Secure network
Enter your STC username (firstname.lastname) and password
