What is Cengage Unlimited?
Cengage Unlimited is a subscription service that gives students access to Cengage materials across any number of courses for a 4-month or 12-month period. Students enrolled in multiple Cengage courses in the same term/year may decide to save money by purchasing a subscription instead of purchasing access for each course individually.
How does First Day Access work with Cengage Unlimited?
Students who do not opt out of First Day Access will be charged for the materials even if they are enrolled in a Cengage Unlimted subscription. However, there are several things students should consider before purchasing a subscription or opting out of First Day Access:
- Not all Cengage materials are covered by a Cengage Unlimited subscription. Students should confirm if all of their materials will be covered before purchasing.
- If a student has purchased a Cengage Unlimited subscription, they should opt out of FDA for all materials covered by the subscription so they are not charged, but should first confirm that they have access through their subscription. Students can choose to opt in to FDA for any materials not covered by their subscription.
