Overview
Narrator is a screen-reading app built into Windows that renders text and image content as speech for users with visual impairments.
How-To Steps
To launch the Narrator app:
- Press [Windows ]+[Ctrl]+[Enter] on your keyboard, or
- Use the Search bar in the main Windows toolbar to search for and select the Narrator app.
Once the Narrator app is launched, the screen-reading and narration begins immediately.

Click the Settings button or press [Windows ]+[Ctrl]+[N] to open the Narrator settings.
